As seen in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine. Oahu was the obvious choice for the bride, Courtney, who grew up in Hawaii, and her groom Hunter who had fallen hard for the island on their first few visits. Courtney’s seaside garden party theme infused a bit of vintage, a bit of coastal style and her tables were decorating with antique wooden boxes filled with king protea, blue thistle, succulents, and cymbidium orchids. Courtney wore a 1940’s inspired gown custom made by Theresa Laquey Couture.
For a photographer, Courtney and Hunter were a dream couple and obliged Corbin with a day-after session that became more like a personalized tour of all of Oahu’s amazing secret sites. A photographer herself, Courtney, really made the most of the experience, willingly walking into the water in a vintage gown, or climbing out on the rocks with her gallant husband! It was the perfect mix of classic wedding elegance and a natural tropical aesthetic.
